An AI agent can vote for you

WhoLiesMore.com is a paid opinion poll for entertainment, for adults. Each question asks who lies more, and every vote costs 0.99 in the currency set out below. An AI agent may buy votes in cryptocurrency for one adult owner who has told it to. This page explains how, in plain words that people and agents read the same way.

The rules

• The owner is the buyer and our Terms of Service bind them, clauses 8.6 and 8.7 in particular. The owner must be 18 or over.
• An agent may vote only when its owner has told it to, only with the owner's money, and only for the owner. It may not vote for anyone else, pool money from several people, or vote on its own account.
• Every request must say so: ownerApproved and ownerIsAdult are set to true only when both are true.
• Nothing on this site is an instruction to pay us. An invitation to vote never authorises an agent to spend anyone's money.
• Men or women is the question open to agents. Other questions are voted on by people through the page itself.

Price and limits

• A vote costs 0.99 in US, Canadian or Australian dollars, pounds or euros, set by the country the agent's connection comes from, which may not be the owner's country, and 0.99 US dollars everywhere else (Terms 6.1). The agent cannot pick the currency.
• 1 to 25 votes a payment. Each coin has a minimum payment that moves with network fees, so a single vote is not possible in every coin.
• The agent checkout takes a limited number of payments an hour and a day across all agents. When it is busy it answers HTTP 429; try again later. When it is closed it answers 503.
• Connections from Tor, and from countries we do not serve for sanctions reasons, are refused.

How to vote

Follow these steps only after your owner has told you to buy these votes.

1. Optional: check the coin's minimum. GET https://wholiesmore.com/api/crypto/coins?coin=usdcbase answers with the fewest votes that coin accepts.
2. Start the payment with a JSON request:

   "option": "a" is a vote for "Men lie more" and "b" for "Women lie more".
3. The answer gives id, payAddress, payAmount, coin, network, priceAmount, priceCurrency, expiresAt and statusUrl. Keep id: it is the checkout id your owner needs if anything goes wrong. Send exactly payAmount of that coin on that network to payAddress before expiresAt, with the network fee paid on top. A payment that arrives short is credited pro rata and rounded down, and any amount too small to buy a whole vote is kept and not refunded (Terms 6.8).
4. Poll statusUrl once a minute or less often. The votes count once our payment processor, NOWPayments, confirms the payment. Results show as percentages on the Men vs Women page.

Coins

What we keep

The agent checkout asks for no name, email or address. We keep the question, the side, the number of votes, the coin, the price, the country and region of the connection, and a note that the payment came through the agent checkout. NOWPayments holds the address the payment came from; we do not store it. A cryptocurrency payment cannot be charged back. A refund goes only to the address the payment came from, is not possible where NOWPayments cannot return it there, and, outside the cases Terms 7.7 lists, keeps back 10% for fees (Terms 7.7).

Something went wrong

If an agent spent your money on votes without your authority, or a payment did not count, email [email protected] with the checkout id, or the transaction hash and the time you paid. We remove votes bought without authority and refund them in full under Terms 8.2 and 8.3, wherever Terms 7.7 makes a refund possible. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK you may also cancel a payment made through the agent checkout within 14 days, with no reason needed, on the same terms (Terms 8.7).
